Meet Avery True — Founder of October Studio.
As the daughter of a builder, Avery has been immersed on jobsites from a young age. In her childhood & high school years, creating art became a place of comfort and helped impact her future endeavors. While spending her freshman year at Syracuse University, she found herself drawn to other students' work in interior design. Ultimately finding her way to Endicott College, Avery received her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design in 2008 and went on to intern at an AD Top 100 firm located in Manhattan.
Prior to opening her own studio, she spent over 10 years working for a high-end residential design firm located in Wellesley, MA, starting as an intern and leaving as a senior designer. While working as a senior designer, her projects ranged from a single bathroom to resort style homes with multiple out buildings.
When Avery’s not in the studio, she loves to spend time with her daughter, Vera & black lab, Walter. She resides in Exeter, NH and prefers to spend as much time as possible at the beach.

Avery takes pride in developing and forming personal connections with her clients. She values a collaborative approach to interior design and never approaches spaces with her own agenda. She strives to create spaces that are eclectic, inviting & never dull.
